Rivi was imported in utero from England, is by the senior British RID stallion Riverbank and is out of our fabulous select Hornby premium RID mare Kerryoak Lady Dawn.
Rivi has since developed into a lovely young Irish Draught mare who is an excellent mover, has great bone, substance and fabulous conformation. Rivi passed her RID inspection as a two year old with flying colors also the same day came 2nd in the 2-3 year old purebred filly class at the central region Irish Draught show in 2005.
We are very proud to add our lovely young mare Rivi to our RID herd.
Offspring
Rivi turns four years old in 2007 and is expecting her first foal, she is in foal to the RID stallion Loguestown Blue's Man owned by Whispering Pointe Farms who have her on lease for a year.
Lineage
Rivi has superb bloodlines top and bottom of her bloodlines and is linebred to the great mare producer Ben Purple. Rivi's sire Riverbank is by the grade A show jumper RID stallion Kintara who is by King Of Diamonds ranked 7th as a sire of show jumpers between 1990-1995 by the world federation. Kintara's dam Sea Spray, is also the dam to the world famous RID stallion Sea Crest who produced the international show jumper Cruising and many other top quality jumpers world wide. Sea Spray is also related to the great RID stallion Clover Hill (Tara, sire to Ohilly Beauty, Clover hill's dam) ranked 4th by the world breeding federation. Rivi's dam Kerryoak Lady Dawn is our select hornby premium mare from England and scored incredibly well at her inspections. She is an outstanding mare who has a fabulous temperament and is a ride and drive mare. Dawn has lovely bloodlines going back to Pink Carnation, Grey Macha, Ben Purple, Mountain Heather and Aughadown.
